Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, Increase market share and expand the client base, Percentage of sales target achieved (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually), Year-over-year revenue growth percentage.

2. Team Performance: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team, Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members, Individual team member performance against targets, Overall team quota attainment.

3. Client Acquisition and Retention: Build and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, Increase the rate of client retention and repeat business, Number of new clients acquired within a specific timeframe, Cost of customer acquisition (CAC), Customer retention rate (percentage of clients retained over a specified period), Percentage of repeat business from existing clients.

4. Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new opportunities and threats, Adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and competitive landscape, Increase in market share within the target demographic or geographic area, Number of new markets entered.

5. Reporting and Data Analysis: Regularly analyze sales performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for management, Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments

6. Sales Cycle Efficiency: Average length of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, Conversion rate from leads to sales.

7. Customer Satisfaction: Net Promoter Score (NPS) or customer satisfaction ratings, Feedback from client surveys regarding sales interactions.

 

Skills & Qualification:

1. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Zoho CRM software and tools to manage customer interactions and sales processes effectively.

2. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.

3. Strategic Thinking and Data Analysis: Possess strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to interpret sales data and market trends, enabling the development of effective, data-driven sales strategies.

4. Sales Forecasting and Financial Planning: Skilled in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support accurate financial planning and ensure alignment with business objectives.

5. Team Leadership and Motivation: Capable of leading, mentoring, and motivating sales teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, fostering productivity and team morale.

6. Creative Problem Solving: Demonstrates innovative thinking and practical problem-solving skills to address unique client needs and resolve challenges that may arise during the sales process.

7. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of converting leads into long- term clients and securing successful deals.

 

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or luxury services sectors. (Mandatory)
