Project Intention:

Yvonne presented a design team with an idea that she plans to convert her apartment into a house with the European feel and yet functional and welcoming to both the personal occupants and temporary visitors. She desired the apartment to have its own identity, sophisticated and easy to approach, sophisticated but comfortable, pursuing the image of the interiors of modern Europe.

About this Space

Object 1 – Type C is a residential project. It blends the charm of Europe with contemporary style. The client desire was to create a perfect space suited for Airbnb hosting. In addition, the project would have a charming and inviting atmosphere. The challenge faced in the project is that elegance and practicality was to blended within a tight budget. The design included soft pastel tones, clean lines with durable materials. These elements maintained the aesthetics and functionality required for an Airbnb space. The living area got more space, bedrooms became cosy. Though there were challenges the design emerged as client desired while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.
