Requirements

This was a personal project. It was our first project for an Indian client. We shared the same cultural lens. The decision felt close to heart and intentional. Client had a layered vision. The space required functionality, visual cohesion and sophistication. This approach weaved a modern sensibility with timeless vintage charm for the three zones. It was an exciting project as we had to maintain the tradition. We divided the feature wall with three house arches and a coffee unit. We managed to implement the traditional plates and Vastu aligned mandir and the outcome was practical and poetic. We used Ratan dressed staircase, mouldings, wallpaper and scone for maintaining the details. The client fell in love with the presentation. We were able to make this presentation our memorable start to the design journey.
