What you’ll do

On-page & technical SEO

1. Run on-page audits and implement fixes in WordPress + RankMath
2. Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, schema
3. Coordinate with the dev team on technical fixes (site speed, crawl issues, indexation)
4. Monitor Google Search Console daily and flag anomalies Keyword research & content briefing 
5 . Build keyword opportunity maps using SE Ranking and Ahrefs
6. Write detailed content briefs the writing team can execute without follow-up
7. QA published content for SEO compliance before it goes live

Competitor & SERP analysis

1. Run monthly competitor teardowns for assigned clients
2. Track SERP feature opportunities (featured snippets, People Also Ask, local pack)
3. Report findings to the SEO Manager with clear recommendations

Tracking & reporting

1. Pull weekly data from GSC, SE Ranking, WordPress, and RankMath
2. Maintain client dashboards and update the live roadmap
3. Draft sections of the monthly client report for the Manager to review

Link building

1. Outreach for digital PR, guest posts, and citation listings
2. Maintain link tracker and disavow file for assigned clients

Requirements

1. 2–4 years hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
2. Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, SE Ranking or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
3. Comfortable in WordPress and RankMath (or Yoast)
4. Can read a crawl report and prioritize what matters
5. Can write a content brief a writer can actually use Clear written English
6. Organized — you can manage 4–6 clients’ worth of tasks without things falling through

Nice to have

  • Experience with service businesses (not e-commerce or SaaS)
  • Basic HTML/CSS for on-page fixes without waiting on dev
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar for dashboarding
  • Exposure to GA4 event tracking and conversion attribution
