Soul Studio is a 900 sqft Modern Glam studio apartment design at Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai, planned around comfort, function and one continuous material language across the whole plan.
The palette holds cream, warm oak, brass accents and one deep charcoal moment, layered against textured walls, warm ambient lighting and a floor plan that keeps sightlines open across the sleeping, living and cooking zones.

Studio profile
The brief was for a modern glam studio that reads warm and functional at the same time, with the sleeping, living, cooking and bathing zones sharing one continuous plan without any of them feeling like a leftover corner.
The intent was urban living without compromise. A cozy sleeping area, a functional workspace for daily use, a comfortable entertainment zone that holds up for evenings and guests, and clean luxurious touches in the kitchen and bathroom.
The palette was set early. Cream, warm oak, brass accents and one deep charcoal moment against a base of neutral tone and warm ambient lighting through the whole footprint.
Function had to sit alongside atmosphere. Storage had to be integrated rather than added, the transitions between zones had to feel like shifts of tone rather than changes of room, and the plan had to hold up under daily use without needing to be styled for a photograph.
The apartment sits at the heart of Jumeirah Village Circle, with easy access to amenities, dining and recreation, so the design had to match the register of a location that is already premium.

The starting condition was a compact 900 sqft shell that needed to hold multiple functions without any of them competing for attention. The scale is generous for one open volume and small for the number of functions the plan had to carry, which is where zoning discipline decides whether the home reads considered or crowded.
The palette had to work as hard as the plan. A modern glam scheme goes cold quickly when the finish is only about surface polish, so the discipline was to keep the number of elements low while pushing the warmth of each one up.
Storage was the third piece. A studio without integrated storage collapses under the weight of daily objects within weeks of handover, and every wall in the plan had to earn its role in either display or storage.
