Requirements

Olive Retreat was a project with clear intentions. It would fit everything needed for a modern residence collected in one compact, thoughtfully curated space. The brief given by client was ambitious with queen-size bed, dresser, TV unit, work desk, styled kitchen, renovated washroom balcony. All these were to be brought in a single room without feeling the crowd. The greatest challenge faced in the project was the space. Designers had to find ways to fit all functional needs while a clean, uncluttered look is maintained. It required careful planning, smart choice of furniture and restrained design hands. However, the project emerged as a high-value rental unit. It included gender-neutral tone, durable quality materials. The washroom also got a sleek glass partition upgrade. Finally, the project successfully stood as a proof that small space can be designed with intention.
