Renting usually means living inside someone else's taste, so the lower level was furnished in a calm luxury boho register, taking in the entrance, the formal and informal living areas, a meditation corner and a seating zone that reads settled from the first evening. The kitchen picked up a bar unit and refinished wood elements, with a coffee station in the foyer for the part of the morning nobody wants to negotiate. Outside, swings, sunbeds and planters answer a client who kept coming back to greenery. Upstairs the volume goes up on purpose. A master bedroom with RGB lighting and a curved dressing area, a gaming room with neon and car themed decor, and a quieter family living area placed to bring the temperature back down. Our story
The client was taking on a rental penthouse and did not want it to look like one. The ask was a penthouse interior design that stays calm and luxurious across the lower level, with a soft boho mood carried from the entrance straight through the living areas so nothing feels stitched together. Lighting had to stay serene rather than bright. Furniture and decor had to be curated instead of catalogue ordered. Planters were not negotiable, because greenery was the thing the client returned to in every conversation. Beyond that, the brief was about how the home would actually be used. An outdoor swing for the balcony. An indoor meditation zone to retreat into. A gaming room built for real immersion rather than a token console corner. And a master bedroom with a piano art corner that belonged to nobody else in the building. Two floors, several moods, one home that had to hold together across all of them.
The hardest part came before anything was ordered. The client needed to see the whole penthouse in their head at the mood board stage, which is the point where most people nod politely and then discover months later that they had pictured something else entirely. That called for presentations detailed enough to leave nothing to imagination, room by room and finish by finish. Then the plan moved. The gaming room was relocated to the first floor and the space it left behind became the meditation zone, which is not a small edit once furniture, lighting and circulation have been drawn around the original layout. Every revision still had to land inside the same deadline. Late in the process a few furniture and decor selections changed again, and some pieces ran into availability constraints in the Dubai market, so alternatives had to match an approved look without restarting the approval cycle. The risk in a project like this is never bad taste. It is a home that ends up as a collection of good decisions that do not speak to each other.
Euphoria Interiors treated the revisions as part of the plan rather than as an interruption. Mood boards were built to be decided on, not admired, with enough detail that the client could sign off on a room and still recognise it once it was installed. When the gaming room moved upstairs, the team redrew the ground floor around what the empty space was genuinely good for, and it became the meditation zone instead of a corridor with a rug in it. The two levels were then given two clear jobs. Downstairs stays calm, boho and ready for guests, with curated furniture, serene lighting and planters threaded through the entrance, living and seating areas. Upstairs is allowed to be expressive, with the RGB master bedroom at one end, the neon gaming room at the other, and a secondary family living area placed deliberately between them so the floor has somewhere to cool down. On sourcing, selections were locked against lead times early, and when availability moved, replacements were matched back to the approved boards rather than to whatever was in stock. The penthouse was delivered inside its three week window.

The Bold Affair works on a deliberate split. Across 3780 sqft and two levels, the lower floor is calm luxury boho, taking in the entrance, formal and informal living, a meditation area and a seating zone held together by serene lighting, curated furniture and a lot of greenery. The upper floor is where the personality is allowed out, with a master bedroom carrying RGB lighting and a curved dressing area, and a gaming room finished in neon and car themed decor. A secondary family living area sits between the two extremes so the shift is not abrupt. The reason it holds together is that the palette and the furniture language stay consistent, so the two moods read as one home rather than two apartments stacked on each other.
Almost everything here was done through furniture, lighting and decor rather than construction. The plan focused on functional furniture placement across both levels, so the layout does the work that walls usually do. The kitchen gained a bar setup and refinished wood elements. The foyer picked up a coffee station. The balcony and pool area were styled with swings, sunbeds and planters. Each of those is reversible, which matters when the property is rented. The upside is speed and flexibility. The constraint is that every piece has to be right, because there is no joinery to hide a weak decision behind. That is why the selection stage carried most of the effort on this project, and why the mood boards were worked so hard before anything was bought.
The gaming room was first planned on the ground floor. Partway through, it moved to the first floor, which changed both spaces at once. Upstairs, it could be treated as a genuinely immersive zone with neon, car themed decor and a table tennis setup, without light and noise spilling into the formal living areas. Downstairs, the space it vacated became the meditation zone, which suited the calmer boho mood of that level far better than a gaming room ever would have. The revision cost time, because furniture, lighting and circulation had already been drawn around the earlier layout. It is also the change that made the final plan work, which is why it was worth redrawing rather than defending the original.

The furniture silhouettes, the wood tones, the metal finishes and the way lighting is layered stay the same on both levels, so the eye reads continuity even when the mood changes completely. The boldness upstairs is carried by colour, light and decor rather than by a different design language. The secondary family living area on the upper floor acts as a buffer, giving that level a calm room between the RGB bedroom and the neon gaming zone. Greenery appears on both floors as well, indoors and out. The result is a penthouse that can move from a quiet meditation corner to a gaming session without the transition feeling like a change of address.
