The Legal Pad- Home Office

The project aims to transform an underutilised guest bedroom into a calm, clutter-free, and highly functional home office tailored for daily productivity. The design will prioritize simplicity by reducing excess furniture and introducing a spacious sit-stand desk with a walking pad, ensuring an efficient and ergonomic work setup. Careful planning will accommodate dual monitors while maintaining a clean aesthetic through concealed cable management and integrated storage for essentials such as a printer, documents, and accessories. The space will be optimised to make the most of natural light, creating a visually light and peaceful atmosphere that supports focus and well-being. A flexible element, such as an updated couch, will be retained to allow for relaxation or occasional use without disrupting the workspace. Overall, the intention is to create a serene, organized, and adaptable environment that seamlessly balances productivity and comfort.

About this Space

Legal Pad project was to be designed as an home office which would strike a balance between productivity and aesthetics. The client desire included a clutter-free environment with sit-stand desk, and smart storage. The main challenge in the project was to create a dual-purpose room without solid partition. Also it would integrate storage and openness. It was resolved using zoned layout, built-in cabinetry and clean setup with hidden storages. The result was a warm, cohesive palette which would complement the flooring and soft finish for comfort. The space emerged as serene and organised.
