Requirements

The Wild Escape is a project which we still remember due to its dynamic requirement. Client was energetic, brought many personal items, with a genuine eye for bold ideas. The client was obvious about the brief. The client needed a minimal, functional, and personal design. The design was to be derived from what the client had already. The kids space reflected energy with mirrored study setups. The living room emerged with classic moulds with navy accents for a refined and welcoming feel. The open balcony got natures touch and lounge seating with great view of the streets. However, there were challenges regarding space and budget constraint. So designers had to think smart placement within a budget-friendly threshold. There was also an unforeseen drawback. The door opening direction was missed during the planning. There was a bed to block circulation. Despite problems like these, the result was highly satisfactory.

The client requested a modern family home that balances luxury aesthetics with practical daily living, while maximizing natural light and storage.

The villa had poor circulation flow, underutilized storage, and fragmented living spaces.

The project blends eclectic and contemporary styles. It pairs classical panel mould and refined neutral with bold playful elements. These elements include giraffe art-work, mixed print cushions, patterned accents.

What is the statement art in the living room?

The hero art work of the living room is a pop-style giraffe painting with colourful. It creates a playful tone for the living room.

How is the dinner seating integrated in the design space?

The dining arrangement is done to the left of the fluted grey wall panel. The terrazo-shaped pendant light, bistro style table and chairs create a compact space. It zones out naturally from living area.

How does the project design gets cohesion despite of having bold mix?

The neutral base of grey, white and light wood floors creates a canvas style feel. Using multi-colour palette throughout rug, cushion, and artwork links all element in cohesion.
